Today was so busy but… mostly productive? I got a sleep score of 99. Unheard of numbers for me! I had breakfast of some dinner leftovers and an apple, and fell right back asleep. Around 1pm, I knew I had to get my ass up and do things. I had returns to run, water to give grandma, and a hair appointment to ask about.
I first went to Ephrata to USPS for ThredUp. I hauled two huge bags in- just to be told they switched up on me for the first time in ever and it’s for UPS! Ouchhhhh…
I tossed em back in my car and went to grandma’s. I hung out a bit after giving her the case of water. She and Rosa, the caretaker, both invited me to the monthly birthday celebration at 3. I had time, so I stayed. Melba’s birthday was one of them! She’s a sweet lady with a dog named Max. We were given cupcakes and a scoop of ice cream- I got a chocolate cupcake. Grandma always enjoys showing me off as a visitor, so I was even more happy to stay. I hoped it would deter me from buying sugary treats in Moses Lake later.
We hugged, said our goodbyes, and I went to Moses Lake. I had so many things for UPS… Once I walked out, a man named Brian asked me for help getting a meal, so I got him mountain dew, corn dogs and jojos as he requested. He wanted a burrito and cheesy tots, but I guess those are for the morning. Glad I asked for a backup preference.
Ulta was next! I asked why the online booking wasn’t working and I guess it’s a mass outage. I got my roots booked and unfortunately looked around the store. I found more UV nails, a hair perfume by Beyoncé, and a regular perfume that will replace my woody-base Billie Eilish once it runs out. It was 15% off perfume, so sweet! I also got some hair oil that seemed to actually make the professional cut for hair retention.
Last stop, Sumo Sushi! Mostly because I needed the bathroom and I was too socially awkward to walk back in, for some reason… I kept my order small.
All in all, a good, productive day. I wish I had time to call the Grant County Bar Association, but there’s still tomorrow wide open!
